These mittens are made primarily of scraps from the process of cutting up sweaters. I took some of my larger scraps and sewed them together with a zigzag stitch.  This scrappy fabric became the backs of the mittens. They are lined with charcoal gray polar fleece, and trimmed with large vintage mismatched buttons. These mittens have red cashmere cuffs and Arctic level warmth.
